My Brilliant Idea:

As many of you know, my five year anniversary of being with H is fast approaching. Since we never go anywhere or do anything, I thought it would be cool for us to stay in a nice hotel for 2 whole nights. Tiny fridge for soda, jacuzzi, the whole deal.

However:

I can't really afford it. So i don't know if I should think of a way to come up with the money by then (June 6); OR if I should mention the idea to H, and see if we wnt to split the cost as out gift to eachother. And then there is the sleazy but time-proven idea of hitting up friends for the money in small doses. It would only be about $180. Plus I'd prolly want to get a new nightgown or some such frilly thing.

It's hot as hell in this apartment, over 80 in the middle of the night. I don't know why we arent' allowed to turn the air conditioner on. Stupid...whoever! it's HOT!

maybe you could just get craftier... lose the fridge and just use ice/cooler. and the hot tub is really what's going to put you over. maybe you could set up a romantic bathroom sceen. you know, you could get candles everywhere oils. and do all this before he arrives so the room is romantic.

That's true. I am quite crafty and could use that to my advantage.

Last valentines, I was dead poor, so i made a bunch of coupns for you know...smooches, special dinners, and hour of remote control holding, that sort of thing.
