The Sims: and my nitpicky comments so far...

I just bought Sims Bustin' out and here are some of my nitpicky complaints:

--You can't make fat people.

--Not enough choices in general for making people.

--Putting sofas, TV's a refrigerators in my pocket.

--No swears.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it would be really funny to have "adult" versions of Sims.
Of course, I'm very new to "new" games, as most of my games were invented in the 70's and 80's.
(that's last millenium, for you kids out there)

Am I correct in thinking that GBA's Sims Bustin out is very limited, compared to other platforms.
Which platforms are the best to play Sims?

The sims for pc is really cool cause you can download practically anyting you want for it. My sims have a graphic sex bed. It's cool. But, bustin out is very limited because you can only fit so much stuff on that little cartridge. It's still pretty fun!

I *am* having fun. I just wanted my Sim to look more like me.

We didn't want to spend on Sims for mac, but we may now since I'm having such fun with this version. I am told there are magical versions, and ones with zombies and all manner of kooky stuff.

The Sims 2!!

The Sims 2 is due out soon and I believe (though, I'm not 100% sure) that you will be able to fatten up your sims by making them eat a lot. Along with that, your sims will age and die. A baby by two sims will look like the parents ... in fact genetic information will be passed down from generation to generation and will affect behavior, too. Physical changes due to their habits will also be implemented, (so you can make your sims heavier by having them over eat.)

One thing I am *really* intrigued by is sims will actually communicate information between each other. A magazine had a great example. Say you have two sims who are married. If one sim cheats on the other and, say, the child SEES him/her cheating, the child will TELL THE OTHER SPOUSE!

I think The Sims 2 is going to be a real treat, if you couldn't already tell. Probably won't be on a console system, though. I'm sure it will out for Mac, though.

I realized that I repeated myself once or twice in there. I blame lack of coffee. :)

Wow, that is exciting. I hope that means it will eventually be availible for the BGA.

I feel compelled to mention though, that like Homer Simpson, my Sim will be heavy due to to a glandular problem.

I know for the mac version there are nude patches to make it so when the sims are naked they are not blurred out.

GBA Sims is an all ages version...as is PS2. I really like the PS2 version as well. I've not played Sims on a computer.
