Work:
Well, I was not quite able to assemble the masses as I had hoped, but my efforts did not go unnoticed.
Some smallish but excited groups came to see Astronaut. Mr. McAbee was very personable and cool and he brought lots of Cd's and DVD's which I've been trying to sell all night, with limited success.
Happily, I don't have to make a flier with H this weekend, Now all my efforts can go to making an informative sign describing the many benefits of eating popcorn.
My Hot Hot Boss (who is the tall, good looking, deep down crazy guy in case anyone isn't sure) finally says I can wear nice dresses to work instead of this POS uniform. I imagine this is in part due to the fact that he hates to hear me complain, and I have been very patient about this for over a year now. So as of tomorrow, I can look cute(r) at work.
Also, I could take the morning off tomorrow and flier at the Hash Bash, but alas...
There is no way I would be able to come in to close afterwards.
I'd like to find some local high schoolers to help flier in exchange for free tickets, especially this summer. Do let me know if you know of anyone good. Usually fliering is not limited to pro-drug legalization rallies. Remember, I said "usually" ha hahahaha!
Also, I think H's ex girlfriend is here at LJ. I think she added me a few days ago and I added her back because she seemed cool. Then she posted something with her name on it, and it is the same name.
Now I am torn because she seems damn cool, yet wasn't very nice to the idea of me when H and I first got together. Of course, that was almost 5 years ago.
EDIT: It wasn't her, although I am told she *does* have an LJ.
Ooooh, looks like I'm going to score a signed copy of American Astronaut: the movie soundtrack.
And it's going to be signed by the director/writer/star!

Anyway, the Astronaut movie plays thru thursday. We just wanted a big crowd for the director. We ended up with a small, exhuberant crowd.
