(no subject)

Before I regail you with tales of todays events, I have a few shout outs:

Big Hooray for [livejournal.com profile] quixoticdancer who is celebrating a birthday today.
And since she is one of a very small number of Madstoners and Ljers who is older than I, I get to prance around singing and dancing youthfully as i say Hooray to her.

Another hooray for [livejournal.com profile] shakeshookshock who took enough time off of work to movie out of his parents house over the weekend. We hope paying utilities and buying groceries agrees with him.

Let's see, I went to the doc today and found out I have lost 6 pounds in the last 2 weeks. That is pretty fucking cool, considering that I ate a giant peice of cheesecake over the weekend. I also have not been excersizing in any sort of meanningful way. Now that the weather is nice, I intend to do some walking each day, probably before my writing time for motivation. I also am getting some kind of tests done and am taking one more pill to try to lower my blood pressure. Even with low cholesterol, my BP is still damn high. I blame pot, for continuing to leap into my mouth and forcing me to smoke it. Hear that kids, drugs really ARE dangerous...

It took over an hour to get the cab and come home from the doc. H had time to buy one of those $5 pizza's from little ceasers and eat almost the whole thing standing outside. It was kind of funny. I also got some new Ben Nye make-up brushes for my kit, and a sparkly make-up pencil.

H is taking me out to dinner tonight, presumably to celebrate my weight loss.
Ironic? Perhaps.
Delicious? Fer Sure!

Since I was asked, I'll mention that my favorite Oscar moment was when the chick from Whale Rider got introduced to Johnny Depp (Chris Connely said he'd take her to meet whomever she most wanted to), and he said he loved her performance and she was great. I bet Johnny Depp is cool in real life...and he's almost as good looking as my Hot Hot Boss. Although I doubt that HHB would ever do a silly stuff like 21 Jumpstreet, or Nightmare on Elm Street.

I have to be at work tomorrow by 9:15 in the morning. I don't know who thought that up, but if i wanted to go somewhere in the morning, I wouldn't have gotten a job at the movies. After work though, I get to finally get my fluffy haircut. At long last...

I wish we lived closer to you so that we could take walks together. Did you know Johnny Depp is living in france right now. Damn, he's too hot to do something so 'traitorish'. Oh, and what movie is Madstone showing for BYO Baby matinee?

Tomorrow it's In America.

Here's a link:

Johnny Depp should not live in France only because it is too far away from me.

ooooohhhh... Johnny Depp! *swoons*

Does pot really raise your BP? If so I think smoking pot must be good for me since I have low BP.

Before you say it. I am NOT being disagreeable. I am just really skeptical. Who told you this? A brief search online didn't provide any helpful websites. And it wasn't mentioned at Erowid.

It is true of all smoking, so in that regard, pot is no worse than cigarrettes. But for me, I should either stop or make a tincture. I probably won't though, i really enjoy smoking weed.

I guess what I'm getting at is... It's an effect of smoke inhalation? Digesting it wouldn't have that effect then?

That is a good question. I honestly don't know. I will ask my doc when i see her next month.

Ha! I would join you in celebratory dancing but...Ow! My hip.

And could you turn that music down? *mutter mutter*
