Why must you turn my office into a house of lies???

Congratulations on being manly (if you're a man), but you know you can get just as drunk on shots without drinking so much, don't you?
Congratulations!! You're a tall glass of nice cold
beer!

This week I'm coloring my hair something normal, and then later, after I shoot my scenes in that [livejournal.com profile] high_adventure movie, I will get it cut. I go to that Regis salon in the mall, because a friend of mine's wife works there. She does a great job and is cool about me wanting to take my hair with me in a bag. It's not that I need the hair, i just don't want it hanging around at the mall where some evil witch can get to it. My point is, i'm getting some layers put in so my hair will be fluffy and bouncy and stuff.

So if you think I'm cute now...just you wait!

I wanted to read some of the gospels before seeing the movie tomorrow night after work. But I'm seeing the movie 3 days earlier than I thought I would. The only way I could do it now is to take a Bible to work with me tomorrow, and read it at my desk. So the question becomes: Do I have the stones to take a Bible to work and read it at my desk?

I daresay, I do!

Yes, YOU do have the stones. I want to get my haircut as well. I want bangs, but N says they look stupid and childish. I just want a cute "IN" style.

Oh, I have been contemplating the bang thing for quite some time, too. I especially want them now because I tie my hair back when I work at the 'Stone, and i don't really like the way I look with my hair like that. They're scary, though, because they're such a pain in the ass to grow out if they don't work.

Yes. I finally grew out my bangs after years of having them. It took forever because I kept trimming them so I could see.

But even if you don't like how they look on your face, you can curl them up with a curling iron. Myself, I like to do as little as possible to my hair, as I am terribly lazy about such things.

I hear that...I started writing a response but then my cab came.

Now I'm at work with my bible, thinking about haircuts. Wheee!

I'm glad you mentioned reading the gospels. You reminded me that I have a New Testament: Contemporary English Version. Yes, it's in modern English, which kinda feels like cheating, but will be easier to read. A Catholic friend gave it to me years ago when I said that I should read the New Testament sometime (and I should). My religious education, such as it was, left out Jesus of course. I think i will try to read some of the gospels in that book today.

Right on! We're a couple of Bible reading fools!

it is nice to know I am not the only one who is 'wierd' about hair.

Is it a Mormon Bible? I always keep a Mormon Bible around.

Nope, I brought the Gideon. I have a book of Mormon at home, but I don't read it ever.

I watched the Stone Phillps report on The Gospels last night. Pretty interesting! None of them match up really 100%.

Well sure. Four "eyewtiness accounts"...none of whom agree with eachother. Why shouldn't 1/4 of the world beleive in that for several thousand years?!?

But I am totally stoked for the film!
