Pleased to not be homeless.

So I dressed nice and warm for work. No dice, as I ended up having to go into the arctic regions of the theatre, which around here is called the Box Office. It is very, very cold. And unlike the kind of cold you experience working a fast food drive thru, there is no fry station to warm up at. This weather is kicking my ass, I don't mind telling you. I'm not even standing outside to smoke after work anymore...in fact, this weather may be just a ploy by non-smoking activists.

My friend got fired after all, despite my coming in to work for him. It's really a shame, because I like him very much. I also feel that he just needs a little time to get his shit straight, which I guess he has now. I just liked having him around here, he's a good kid. Plus I hate when people get fired; and I hate that my Hot Hot Boss doesn't actually do the firing; just because its my opinion that firing is the job of the big boss.

They've been playing Grateful Dead here for the whole shift today. Not that I mind, but its not exactly music that promotes efficiency and sobriety. Other than that though, theatre things are good. My hot hot boss is implementing our per cap suggestions, which I suppose should make us feel like our hard work makes a difference or something. We are also dropping Chasing Liberty tomorrow, which means that I won't have to deal with snotty, tasteless high school kids in thier Ambercrombie clothes this weekend. Big Yay! Despite having to open tomorrow, I'm going to stay late and watch The Cooler with William H Macy.

What's not to love about William H Macy?

In case anyone is keeping track, I'm still kicking ass on the diet.
And slowly improving at the DDR.
