No Room in Hell

Oh man oh man ohman ohmanohmanohman!!!

I just saw the new trailer for Dawn of the Dead. And it looks fucking terrifying. I am damn stoked for it.

Other movies I'm stoked to see include Monster (playing only in Royal Joke right now), Prisoner of Azkaban, and that serious looking movie with Ashton Kutcher. I'm curious to know if he can act for real. The new Jim Carrey movie looks kinda cool also. I wish I could rememeber the titles of films when I see trailers.

And if you didn't know, the new season of Sopranos starts March 7. I beleive this is the last season, which means that absolutely anything can happen. *shudder*

Doing the late night shopping thing later, which should be great fun. I prefer to do Meijer's when there are as few people there as possible.

Dawn of the Dead remake? Cool. Did you notice if Romero or Savini are involved in it?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2004-01-12 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, they are using Romero's screenplay but there is another writing credit, so i'm sure its tweaked a bit.

Savini appears.

My bitch with the remake .. is Sarah Polley..
She just does NOT belong in that movie. AT ALL!!!
She's a twat.. and I can say that!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2004-01-12 06:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I can see where you'd find her annoying.

I still have high hopes though.

heh heh, I said "High"

She has NO experience with this kinda movie!!!!
As a kid.. She played Ramona (A book character by Beverly Cleary.. dunno if you ever read it) .. then she played this prissy thing on this cheesey Canadian show called "Road To Avonlea" .. Since then? Shitty ass nothing movies that usually involve some kinda barf-o-matic romantic angle.. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRr!!

:P

I saw the trailer for Dawn of the Dead, and that indeed scare the shit out of me...now, I haven't seen the original, but I am definitely intrigued by what's coming out...

and I happened to be thrilled with the idea of seeing Sarah Polley...I disagree with the comments about her being in bad films...I enjoyed her performances in The Sweet Hereafter, Go, and Guinevere...I read an interesting interview with her (which may have been recent or old depending on what magazine I happened to find it in), and I only appreciated her more...

Yeah, I forgot about Go. that was a good one!

Jim Carrey - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Also, looking forward to The Secret Window and Girl with a Pearl Earing

Jim Carrey - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Yes! Always more Charlie Kaufman!

I don't like the looks of the Butterfly movie. A.K. should stick to being goofy.

We'll see. A lot of people liked Adam Sandlers serious turn. I mean, what if Robin Williams stuck to goofiness?

I'm with the person who likes Sarah Polley. I think she's a very good actress, always believable and sympathetic. She did a Hal Hartley movie I've been meaning to rent. It's called No Such Thing. If anyone here has seen it, I'd be very interested in your opinion.

And the trailer for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind absolutely rocks! I also hope that Charles Kaufman has finally figured out how to logically end a movie.

No Such Thing was a very good movie.

I used to always go to Meijers at night too!

I miss that.

The people watching is excellent.

I saw the trailer for "The Butterfly Effect," and it looks interesting. I will want to see it. When is the release date?

I am stoked.
