Your sign of frustration is....Yelling!!! The best
way for you to let out all your frustration is
to yell. A good temper tantrum, is your
solution to all your problems. The bigger the
tantrum, the better. You're a very expressive
person!

What sign of frustration are you?

Sweet Lord in Heaven, Noooooo!!! Not...Yelling!?!?

I'm curious to know what people are looking forward to for the coming year.
I bet most of you ahve some cool stuff int he works.
Who's getting married, or having a kid.
Anybody getting a better job, lowering thier cholesterol, or finishing a novel?
Keep me abreast of these things people!

As for me, I'm going to figure out a way to write and excersize at the same time.
And I will write something that impresses people who impress me.

get some of that fancy schmancy voice recognition software. Then you can "write" and work out at the same time...

I also plan on watching more law and order... and saving enough money to go to legoland this summer.

I'm planning on making more money this year. Getting back on the thyroid and brain lump meds, maybe shaving my head for fun, and riding my bike. (Not the blue one, I sold it. I'll be riding my bike from my youth.)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2004-01-06 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Please do not shave your head.
it wont be as much fun as whatever you ae thinking...

This year, I hope to:
Be minimally conversant in Spanish.
Go to Peru, hike the Inca Trail, see Machu Picchu.
Write a screenplay, just for me, my first ever (and know that it will suck).
Apply for, and hopefully get, an internship in international conflict resolution.
Learn how to post my travel pics on my U of M personal pages, and caption them, and all that webpage design kind of stuff.
Learn how to finally kill all my demons so they stay dead.
Make new friends, and keep the old (what can I say? I'm a former girlscout)
See lots of good movies, read lots of good books, dance my ass off on occasion.

looking forward to? hmm..

being with ms. buying records. with a little luck and a modicum of effort, getting another zine out. perhaps fulfilling the desires to visit various friends, but we'll see how that turns out. also, i'd like to eat more. mmm.

Restarting my publishing work...and writing a book.

[identity profile] paulcurtis.livejournal.com 2004-01-06 06:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I shall write a book this year, as part of a scheme to improve my standing at work. If I am an author on the topic of computer viruses and spyware, I will be considered an accepted "authority" and therefore more of an asset to be protected.

It's more of a gimmick than a deep need to express myself...but who's counting?

My publishing is more along the lines of self-expression. The idea is to give some exposure to young artists and writers. Won't make me rich, but I hope it won't lose too much money.

Wow, that sounds like an excellent plan. Do keep me posted!

Oh, the progress is sure to be covered in my Journal...I'm actually intrigued by the idea of writing the book: I've written a lot in the past (including a draft of a book on amateur comic book publishing) but I've been saving a certain ace-up-my-sleeve until I find the right project. Basically, as long as the book is publishable (which it will be) I believe I will be able to get a major publisher to handle it...IF I play this particular card.

Plenty of amusing anecdotes to follow...

Right on!

I started writing a novel a few years back, but never finsihed it. I think I'm afriad if i finish it, I'll have to submit it to publishers where I'll find out whether or not I suck as a writer.
I guess i'm in no hurry to find out.

Spend time with Derek, to meet you, and not to kill myself on accident. Not! I would never. You know like accidently drowning in the shower or tripping and falling on a sharp knife.

Another one is to lose another 100 lbs. I would really really love that! I can do it but so darn hard!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2004-01-07 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
I'm excited to be on this diet. Wanna be diet pals with me?

Well since my company officially left bancrupcy on 12-31-03, I expect to be getting a raise within the next month or two.
