Ironic Paradox, wrapped in an Oxymoron

I was just thinking about how I don't like to be bothered by people. i mean, I *do* enjoy the attention i recieve from friends and loved ones. but sometimes i get totally irritated by things like unexpected phone calls and people who stop by my place without calling first.

What's my point?

Well, I have several E-mail addy's, a livejournal, a cell phone with me at all times which allows for regular calls as well as text messaging. Plus i got hooked back up to ichat (macs version of AIM).

For someone who doesn't like to be bothered, i certainly open myself up to it.

That said, I have a pathetic 2 (two) testimonials at Freindster. What am I, unpopular?

Also, this week's South Park was hysterical!
Wendy breaks up with Stan and he goes goth...meanwhile Butters is captivated by a waitress at a Hooter's type restaurant for little kids.

Why is it that when you scroll down a list of fonts, you can't see what the fonts look like? Someone really ought to fix that.

And finally, tape is a bad way to affix posters to the wall.

On mine when you scroll down you can see what the fonts look like. Are you using an old computer?

Does AIM count as bothering people? I like getting AIMs from strangers.

Testimonials suck, as does Friendster. I'm sorry, but it's true.

Well, compared to LJ, Freinster is lame. but if I'd never ehard of Lj, I'd think it was cool.

Sometimes i feel annoyed by people AIMing me, sometimes not. of course, i'm very moody!

You have to give testimonials on Friendster in order to get them. *ahem*

(You're a step-friend.)

I loved South Park this week! Maybe it was just me since I could see my friends in the goths.

(going away now)

The kid who kept swinging his hair out of his eyes was great...so dead on! I hope the kids from hot Topic were watching...as a mall employee, they are a source of great amusement to me.

I only hope some of those kids took the non-conformist message to heart. Wait, they probably wouldn't understand it...

South Park, did indeed rock my socks :)

The Raisins send-up of Hooters was great. :-)

The slam on pretentious goths was good too - but fortunately not all goths are like that. I rather like the perky goths I know, and I have to admit I find a lot of the goth girls *hot*.

dark hair, pale skin, anti-establishment...it's a good package. it just shoudln't be taken to "mallesque" extreemes.
