More Restaurant Talk

Since I don't drive, many things that all Ann Arborites know about remain unfamiliar to me. Such was the case when my esteemed co-worker asked me if I wanted to get Fazzoli's for dinner.
Italian "fast food"...who knows about that? There is a Pizzahouse around here whose pasta is damn expensive and not that good. So I was leary. Man...I was a fool! I had this grilled chicken pesto dealy with melted cheese and peppers and stuff. It was way far good, and like $4!

Went to work today, my new desk got set up by my Hot Hot Boss. He was crawling around on the floor and I was reminded of that one scene from 9 and 1/2 weeks. I don't think he saw that movie, because he didn't think my "pick up the money" joke was very funny. ;)

Watched Kill Bill last night--'twas awesome! Highly stylized and big huge fun...like Matrix-style fun but bloodier and with curvier chicks in better outfits. That schoolgirl chick who is Lucy Liu's bodyguard...DAMN! She fine.

Also watched Drity Pretty Things today.
One more reason to forgo alcohol.
I adore Audrey Tautou!

Who wants to take me to see Mystic River tomorrow night?

It has a drive-thru, which is good for me, becaue I'm self-conscious about eating is restaurants.

I use to be the same way thanks to my loving father. He would tell me when I was a kid and we were eating at Taco bell or something that people notice how much food I am eating and that they are probably making fun of me.

Don't get me wrong my dad was a great man but he mental abused me a lot. I don't think he realized what he did but every time I fail at something I think of the time he told me that he has no confidence in me and that I am a loser. It is really messed up. I mean I love him and I miss him I just wish he didn't say the things that he said. I guess in his mind he just tried to modivate me more but the opposite happens.

Yeah, parents can be really stupid in that way. My mother had no concept of self-esteeme, but then, she was an untreated manic depressive.

That is sad. I am sorry to hear that. Well maybe one day I will get over that feeling. I know if I keep losing weight it shouldn't matter that much to me. Just strange you know what I mean...

People are often ready to tell you what's wrong with you...sometimes its cool to answer them back with a compliment, just to illustrate what a jerk they are.

"Gee Wednes, you're fat!"

"Really? I was just about to tell you what a warm, sensitive person you are..."

LOL they would fall off the rocker and I would die in laffter or at least pee my panties.

Yeah, I think there's something in body fat that makes a person hilarious. That would explain why Adam Sandler is not really very funny at all.

skinny peeps can be funny

Skinny peeps can be funny, but like...in a skinny kinda way. Fat peeps are all kinds of funny in an all around kinda way. Fat peeps are better at physical comedy too (e.g., Chris Farley, John Goodman).

Adam Sandler isn't that bad. Did you see "Anger Management"? I thought that was one of his better flix. BTW, "Kill Bill" rocked. Uma...gotta love her!
