Cypress Hill, I'm looking in your Direction...

Missed my therapy appt today, felt like crap upon waking up...mainly because it is like, three degrees in my apartment. Dont' know what's up with that, but I'm already sick and not looking forward to spending the whole winter without a voice.

H is at Madstone seeing a few moives that I have no interest in.

Pentelope ripped off her collar yesterday and detroyed it. So I'll be upgrading her to a leather one. I feel bad making her wear one when she doesn't want to, but I'd feel much worse if she ever got out and I couldn't find her.

How about a tattoo or that little thing (whatever it's called in English) that they put inside the earlobe? I've been considering those for my kitty even though the risk of him getting lost is quite minimal.

I am considering some alternatives, since she really hates wearing the collar...and because I'd sort of like a flashing heart of my own to wear.

You could take her to the vet and get the microchip put in her. It's called an E-tag. It's a device the size of a grain of rice that the vet places under the skin of the cats shoulders. That way, if she does get our and gets her collar off she will still be able to be identified.

That's what I was going to recommend. It's painless, and will hold valuable info. The problem is that it's not external. Someone may not think to take it to a vet who can read the chip. They may not know it's there. Maybe a tattoo indocating that there is a chip...

That's cool, I will look into that. Thanks!
