Malling it Up!

My poor roomate is home sick, and I am at work for another 11 hour Saturday. Long long long it is. And we are short staffed, and my fliers were made virtually illegible by the stupid marketing lady whom I don't like very much.

She is stupid. And I shouldn't have to explain to a marketing person how to google pictures or how to find a book review at Amazon. I mean, really. How come I don't have that job? Well, I want it!

It shall me mine. Oh yes...it shall be mine.

In other news, I enjoyed "talk like a pirate day" which happily, was yesterday. But I'm also pleased to be back to talking like my same old Wednes.
Oh, and I'm out of weed without a hook up again. I hate not having a good reliable hook up. If you deal dope, and are fair and reliable please move to Ann Arbor poste haste.

Okay, my lobster bisque has arrived. I'm out!

I also am without reliable connections, and I know how much that can suck. And for me, I try not to have it around when I am really busy with school, so naturally the only times I can reliably NEVER get weed is when I have days off from school, but I can ALWAYS get weed the night before I have to get up early for finals or to finish some project. Dammit, why can't they legalize it?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2003-09-20 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Dont' get me started on the whole legallization trip. If I wanted to drive drunk every weekend, a zillion local distributors would be only too happy to help me.

It's a travesty. And they need to keep thier laws out of my body, to quote the feministas.

[identity profile] spikejonez.livejournal.com 2003-09-20 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I tried not to mention legalization, because I am probably more vehement about it than you are, but I also know that too much vehemence about this UTTERLY WRONG THING makes you sound like a total burnout pothead.

Especially when you're already stoned.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2003-09-20 01:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, the vehemence comes from not being able to make such a simple choice for onesself in a supposedly "free country".

[identity profile] spikejonez.livejournal.com 2003-09-20 01:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Free? This country? The USA? Free?

As Doug Smith once said:
"1984" already happened way back in 1953!

Sorry, but any Democracy (which, mind you, America isn't) means that half of the people have half a say in what all of the people do, and most of what they want is for the other half to be exactly like them. "Well, if they just did what I wanted, there'd be no reason to argue!"

ARGH! FUCK FUCK FUCK! Don't get me started on this!!! People have been telling me what to do my whole damn life and it always made me wonder "WHY DON'T THEY JUST GET ON WITH WHAT THEY WANT TO DO WITHOUT TELLING ME TO DO IT TOO???"

Okay, I need a cigarette.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2003-09-20 01:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Damn!

I knew I friended you for a reason, you rock!

[identity profile] nate101000.livejournal.com 2003-09-21 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I second that whole conversation. Except the part where half the people decide. If the other half voted we wouldn't have such a big problem.

I know everyone has to learn sometime, but...

You should definitely not have to explain to a marketing person how to google pictures or find a book review at amazon... in my opinion anyhow.

I agree. Thanks for your support!

I suggest from now on we all go to the theater and complain vehemently about every decision that the marketing director makes. Especially the part about the Night of the living dead remake instead of the original.

It turns out that the only film copies of NotLD are reel to reel, which is not compatible with any of our projectors.

Though it does seem like you could borrow a reel to reel projector from a public high school somwhere.

If she had put even the slightest effort into the project she would have found a way. Halloween is over a month away, all problems are solvable with enough time and effort.

It is truly NOW that corporate needs to get us that digital projector. I'm sure they could thread that thing up somewhere and send it via satellite.
