I only get one more day off this week, meanning I have to go back to work tomorrow and work 6 shifts in the next four days, like some kind of crazy work machine. But it's cool, since we have a lot of cool stuff happenin' at the theatre.

If I may, I'd like to give a shout out to

cepheidus whose 21st birthday is tomorrow. You are tops in my book, Sweetie!

Those of you who think I'm a whack-job will be pleased to know that I'm starting counseling, with a regular weekly appointment next week. Then I can see about maybe becoming less crazy. Although I hope to retain many of my more endearing quirks...

Oh, and I found another treasure in the back of a cab yesterday: a Frodo bookmark with "the One Ring" attached to it. I hope it's not bad luck to wear it on my toe.

I wore one of those one ring copies to a con once. It looked so cool, I thought, hell, why not?

It could easily be coincidence, but my car broke down on the way down, costing me a car rental to get my riders down there, a day spent driving back up, locating and installing an alternator, and to top it off, the car blew a head gasket as I turned into my driveway at the end of the trip.

Whether it's coincidence or not, I'll never try that again.

Hey! Good luck with your counseling, I hope that helps you out... it's helped me a little. I don't know if I act different or not. She's a "christian" but she's cool about it b/c she's like 'It's not my responsibility to convert you, please tell me if you don't want to hear it'. So that's cool. For some, it probably helps. For others, it probably just makes them mad or makes them feel like shit. I told her I was Unitarian and was open to pretty much anything as long as it made me a better person so she pulls out Buddist stuff... see, she IS pretty cool I hope your counselor is cool.

I hope so too. I'll let you know when I find out.
