Man, my TV was serving up the love since I posted last. When I got home from work, Top Secret! was on...you know, that Zucker Cros movie where Val Kilmer is delightful and funny. It is because of his singing in this film that he was later cast as Jim Morrision in the Oliver Stone thingy.

Then this morning, I learned that there is a new Duck Dodgers series, and the 15 minutes I saw of it was damn impressive! Cool looking animation, great use of Michael Dorn v/o as the Martian 2nd in command (after Marvin of course), and it looked like a lot of fun. I'll try to catch it in its entirely some time when its on and I'm not working.

Hopefully tonight the Falcon will land.

Oh, my buddy in California wanted me to join this "Friendster" thing. I did, but it seems kind of lame compared to LJ. Does anyone here do it? Do you like it? Details por favor!!!

Friendster SEEMS lame at first, but after a while you can use it for a sort of Kevin Bacon game: you put in all the people you know in real live, they put in all the people they know in real life, etc... Eventually you can find out that someone you talk to online is so close to your circle of friends that you're surprised you never met before. But then, I do live in Philly which is "the world's largest small town." You always end up running into everyone in a weird, convoluted circle of "friends twice removed."
