Movie night for Wednes

Went out for a movie with [livejournal.com profile] mrcrankypants whom many of you know as Anthony from the Housewarming. Nice Cat, that one. Bought me some Steak and Shake after the movie...just the sort of thing that reminds me what a desirable woman I've become.

The movie was called Stone Reader, which is a documentary about a guy trying to find a guy who wrote a book that basically no one has read. You want a spoiler? He finds the guy.
You want my advice? Come into this movie about an hour or so into it, it'll just be starting to think about becoming interesting. Lots of men will be talking about how they feel about books. Another spoiler? They like them, and they like reading them. And they like talking to other people about how much they like reading them.

Looking for Wednes this holiday weekend? I'll be working at the theatre, making some yummy food for the High Adventure BBBQ, and wishing I had some pot.

Do you have any pot?
If you do, please give me some.

That's pretty funny. Why the hell would someone make a movie like that?!

Well, his idea was to find out stuff about this book, and about the guy who wrote it and then nothing else...the end result is that the book is getting republished. So that is good, but why I had to sit thru a 2 hour 18 minutes story aboyut it is beyond me...

I tried e-mailing you some pot, but the MAILER DAEMON kept on coming back at me with an Error 420, whatever that means.

Ha 420...hilarious!

Your "current music" reminds me of a few years ago when HBO sometimes ran these 60 or 90 second spots sort of featuring they're original series'es, and the song featured in the spot was "Sunspots" by Bob Mould. That was just weird to me.

Just as weird to me was a time right around when I started my journal that a 5-second spot for the local news had the Pixies' "Debaser" in it. That's probably even more odd.

My current music, on the other hand, is "Lemonade" by Tsunami Bomb.

Bob Mould eh? Wasn't he in XTC as well as Dukes of Stratosphere? I was so in to them in high school.

I love recognizing music on TV, like Mtv uses a lot of Komeda in thier stupid shows, but never plays there music videos. It's so unfair ;(

Way off. You're thinking of Andy Patridge. Come to think of it, they *look* sort of similar. Anyway, no, Bob Mould was the chubby little gay guy from one of the mightiest bands of all, Husker Du, and a respectable solo artist.

Oh, okay.
