Yeah, so the power went out. We made sure to store up some water, bust out all the non-ritual candles, locate the extra flashlight batteries, eat all the ice cream, and get good and high! it got pretty freaking hot in here, and I worried about the rioting I was sure would ensue, especially since Meijer's ran out of water by 7pm. Yikes!

No one is ansering the phone at the mall, hopefully that means they have no power and I get the night off. In the mean time, I'm doing some laundry and using my newly returned electricity to watch Jaws 3 (which makes me wonder if I'm really deserving of getting the electicity back this soon).

Holy Crap! i just realized that if I don't have to work tonight, I can go see Freddy Vs Jason.
That is freakin' sweet!

May I join your wonderful self in attending said movie? Having seen neither a Freddy or Jason movie in entirety, I'm probably not deserving of this . . .
But then I haven't seen Casablanca either, so I'm not deserving of much anything, really.

I can't contact that boyfriend of mine, figuring he died from heat exhaustion.
You're probably the best individual to confirm or deny this.
If his sweaty self is moping around the house, could you prod him to call me?

And do you require any non-melted foods for the house-warming? Stopping for some icecream on the way into town certainly isn't beneath me.

Actually, we are pretty much set for the party, unless you want to grab some extra soda or snacks.
