I had some trouble figuring out H's alarm clock this morning...unless it actually does have a one hour snooze. If that's the case, it works fine. In any event, I woke up at 10 minutes before my scheduled arrival time and had to call in for a ride. Lucky I live so close to work now.

I think I'm going to go home and play about a bazillion games of Q-Bert on my gameboy. That is so freakin fun, I'm a great fan of it.

For those of you whom have been inquiring, the deal with the party is as follows:

August 17th (Sunday next) from 2pm until we're done.
We will be serving some kind of grilled cylindrical meat, non-alcoholic beverages (BYOB), pineapple upside-down cake, phyllo tarts, and some other assorted snacks, dips and yummy things.
Conversation will be lively, and herb friendliness is required.
All you LJ locals are invited, as well as anyone else who feels like making the trip.
If I'm not expecting you, do let me know you're coming so I can plan how much food!

Me and Anthony are comeing but I'm not sure what time. It's a SMALL possibility that my parents may babysit tho (believe it or not, my MOTHER suggested it due to me being scared to death of the highway. She also added that it wasn't b/c she thought I was incompetent but b/c she knew how hard it was to drive with a child. No condecendation (is that a word?), no "what will you being doing if the kid isn't there" no. She was genuinely being nice. So I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of taking her up on the offer and wondering what kind of strings are going to be attached. Anyway, if I come w/o the kid I'll bring some pics of him and stuff like that. And I'll stay longer. And probably smoke more. :)

I know you'll be there, silly! You are one of the few who actually RSVP'd. I would, of course, prefer that you not bring Anthony, as Nolan does not really get along well with children. Not to mention that the goings on will not exactly be kid-friendly.
