Cat Saga Continues

Clarence is coming home in about an hour. Aparently, she is fine and came out of the surgery okay. Pentelope however, has been hiding under the couch since we tried unsuccessfully to put her in the carrier this morning. She clearly does not know what is going on, but may relax a bit once Clarence comes home safely. Pentelope is going tomorrow morning.

We finally got the definate word on the apartment. All is well, and we move in on Monday, as planned. They are giving us new carpet and flooring in the hallway, and it is already repainted. So we will be in good shape.

Our firewire is fixed, so I can once again watch that SNL sketch where Will Ferrell plays the cowbell in Dont' Fear the Reaper. God damn! That thing is funny...

I'm aware of this. But if no one else can do it, I'm going to try to be the hero. I've had more experience handling animals than probably 90% of the population (Father was a vet, and I worked with/for him from early childhood until late H.S).

I cannot get there in the morning to do it. They can put some shredded newspaper in there, or something. Also, the poo can be cleaned out so long as the cat doesn't get out. It won't be any fun for her, but she'll be fine.

Actually, its what they reccomended at HVHS. They are supposed to be separated the first night. She'll be fine for a few hours.

Oh Yes! All in all we have been most fortunate. Clarence is still not quite herself, but after tomorrow it will be over for both of them and they can rest up for the big move.

If they are stressing out big time, there's this Feliway thing that seems to be miraculously successful in relieving kitty anxiety. It worked wonders for Aksu when he was freaking out over the hair disaster a while back. I also used it for making it easier for him to settle here in Kemi. Bought it from a pharmacy but I hear it's sold by vets and pet stores too.

I know some crack whores I can call in on a moment's notice to hang out outside your building. They used to live in the house next to Frat House Two, which was busted every six weeks or so.
