I have noticed that many young people have LJ names with the word "goth" and some seemingly random numbers after or before it. Am I the only one who sees the irony in this?

Because that, after all, is the uniquely human and individual nature of all goths. To be themselves at all costs, just like all the other Hot Topic nerdos out there.
