Packages!

My new towels came in the mail today. I guess its a sure sign that adulthood is upon you when you're thrilled to recieve new towels. But it is a big set, and they have cool stripes on them. Most importantly, I'll have a new apartment to match my new towels...I better tell the guys to rent an apartment with stripes so they don't clash...

This week, I'll be finally checking out He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not. I'm stoked to see such a cute girl playing a stalker! And of course, 28 Days later at the preview Thursday night. Here's to hoping I can get hooked up by then!

I also got a new, lime green dress and 6 pair of fluffy white socks.
I'm getting almost Dobby-like in my love of socks, although I do tend to match them.

And for all you punks who are dissing Harry Potter but have never read the books, I'd like to remind you that you may no longer drone on about: sports, video games, Tom Clancy, Amber Chronicles, PC's, Star Trek or Buffy the Vampire Killin' Chick. Because all of those things are equally irritating to have to listen to hype about. So there!

TOM CLANCY is the best author EVER. I can't stop talking about him, I have Tom Clancy parties where everyone verbally jerks off the author and his sweetness. I just think it's funny to see Mr. Clancy listed there. But luckily for me I don't talk about any of that stuff so I can keep on bashing Harry Potter. AND you didn't mention Magic Cards so I'm gonna go bonkers spewing stuff about those. Bu I know what you mean about boring stuff, I'll talk to people about horror movies and watch them faze out, it's kind of funny.

Thank you!

I must say, its awfully lemming-like to diss' something simply because there is hype around it. Hype is no more a reason to diss' something than it is a reason to jump on the bandwagon.

People just need to not be such sheep and decide a thing or two for themselves...
...but I'm preaching to the choir here!

Yeah, I'm converted. Stephen King likes Harry Potter. And I like Stephen King, so I'll just read him instead.

I'll get around to Potter soon enough.

I don't talk about (or like) any of that crap ever! Just posters, man! I have no HP posters and never will. I couldn't care less about those books as I'm currently unable to leave the non-fiction realm and they would never had appealed to me anyway.

Actually, you seem to have excellent taste. And it is in no way mainstream...so I was not speaking of you in that last rant.

But I meet these people who tell me how stupid Hp is, then go off about how entertained they are by 2Fast 2Furious or some other such nonsense...

i'm sure you know the type.

Yeah, I prefer to keep my tastes to myself and let people like what they like. I usually just talk about how stupid their tastes are behind their backs...never actually tell them.
