There was a chemical spill in the city right next to mine.

Everyone is supposed to close thier windows, shut off thier fans, and go to the top floor of thier buildings.

I don't know whether I'm nervous or furious...

Turns out, it was some kind of acid.

The all clear was sounded at 3:20 this morning. Here's the official story as heard on 107.1 FM.
(Ypsilanti) -- The Danger is over today in an Ypsilanti neighborhood where chemical fumes leaked from a business. The hydrochloric acid leak took place about ten last night at Marsh Plating and Finishing Services. Authorities had warned residents to close all doors and windows and go to the highest floors of their homes. (or was it stay home and get high?)
Police gave the "all-clear" thismorning at about 3:20. The Ypsilanti Fire Department says the gas most likely came from a leak in the plant's eight-thousand-gallon tank, or from the pipes leading to it.

On the off chance that jackass is ni Ypsi and NOT in FL like I heard from someone, I hope he inhaled a huge lung-full of the shit and spontaneously combusted.
