Jerk-Ass!

My boss is a jerk-ass! Yes, that one. And now we can't go to the screening of Xmen2 tonight because I can only bring one person. See, if I just bring H, we will have no ride, but uterdic and cepheidus also wanted to come. Which would have been awesome.

He says if I bring 3 people now then "when the Matrix comes out, will you want to bring 10 people"? Which is silly, because I have never abused that one benefit that we get. For a place that never got around to giving us the promised health insurance, they are pretty dicky about bringing guests to see screenings.

So I have to go to work on Beltane and can't even stay for the screening.
And I have to go back to work on my day off to see Xmen2.

Does he have to pay a per-head deal? Besides, the point of screenings is to get the word out to hype a movie, right?

Actually, the screening process isn't to hype the movie (commercials are pretty good for that), but rather to make sure there's nothing wrong with the print the theater got.

I know what you mean. My manager told me I couldn't have a guest for XM2, the DM was down and she didn't want to get in trouble. I hate Regal, that company is so ass-backwards. They still haven't given me any back pay, and I can't take one ticket sale? Bastards!

Of course you won't want to take 10 people to the Matrix. Just 3 extra people (me being part of that group).

Oh wait, I'll be in SC when the Matrix opens, crap. Now I have to make my whole family go during my sisters college craduation weekend. Oh well, they'll survive.
