I really did not think Agents of SHIELD would be able to top last season's finale. Bill Paxton in all his evil glory, a surprise appearance from Director Fury, and so much intense fucking drama.

But I gotta say, this season's finale might not have surpassed, but it def equalled the drama and awesomeness of S1.

Skye's mom turning out to be essentially evil? That sucks on many levels. Cal's whole deal? Amazing. For a minute there, I thought he might actually Hulk out. Kyle looked like he was having a super fun time running around like a monster. AS a monster might even be more accurate.

I don't wanna say I cried when Jemma told Fitz they needed to talk about their relationship--implying that there WILL be a relationship. So I won't say that I cried. But I will say my lip for trembley and I needed a napkin. Waaaaah! I love those guys.

And Bobbi's sacrifice for Hunter? Awesome. I didn't see it coming until she actually started scooting around in her chair. For a minute there, I thought we lost her. SHIELD does enjoy killing people, after all. Looks like we didn't lose any good guys this time around. Well, except that we have no idea what happened to Jemma. I really hope there is camera footage in that room. I wonder if it's gonna turn out to be some magical thing that actually allows Jemma to kill Ward. Now that fuckin' Ward is straight-up evil, he'll have to die some time next season. I'm sick of all his bullshit anyway. He killed Agent 33 himself, because of his vendetta against May--a vendetta she did nothing to deserve.

Man, what a fantastic episode.

The Bates Motel finale was not all I'd hoped it would be. Still, not bad.
