Okay, so I don't understand why anyone with something to say, who says it well... is on one of these blogging spots at all. I don't have much to say, I never say it well... but I self host. It won't matter to me if DW goes totally commercial, because I don't use it. Never used LJ, and was on blogspot for a few weeks until I decided I hated them. I self host.

Not to mention, if you self host, you have infinite variations that you can tweak. Building a blog isn't hard at all, even from scratch. You can have ads, you can leave em off... and if you already pay for a domain name, you don't even have an extra fee.

Anyhow... I'm super tired, but thought the whine about LJ a bit too much. If you care, don't use it. There are other options. Lovely other options, besides this one.
