You know how I took that whole week off work to get my shit straight and deal with the mania? Yeah...I went back to work for 2 whole days and then had to call off. When I went to the docs last Thursday, we decided to try a really low dose of Risperdal. I didn't get the pills until Saturday, and by Monday afternoon I felt way far high. But I wasn't. For reals. I was feeling totally loopy at work and by the next morning I was totally confused and foggy. Got a few extra hours of sleep (like, 6) and felt moderately better. I'm okay today, but I hate that evening out period where anything goes. It freaks H out and I don't like that at all. I feel like I'm punishing him for caring so much, because sometimes I'm just not well. Sucks. Anyway, I'm feeling better. Look ma, no mania!
Was watching TV with H yesterday and a bizarre thing happened. A little box came up on the TV during a commercial for some car or something. It said to click "enter" for more information. Aghast, we decided to click, and it said "click again if you'd like..." basically saying that Comcast would send this company my contact info so I could get "more information." WTF?!? No...
So...strike two, Comcast. Your prices are ridiculously high already, and you nose into your employees business with your drug testing policies. Now this? You are on my last nerve, Comcast.

So, Jack is Jacob's successor. The real surprise there is that a) Kate was considered for this gig at all, b) that it happened with so little pomp and circumstance, so soon given that there are 2 and 1/2 hours of new LOST remaining. He may very well die before this thing is through.
Evil Ben Linus who only loves himself appears to be back. Odd, as they seemed to really be eluding to the idea that he is capable of change. Then again, a big fuck-you to Widmore is not so unreasonable given the circumstances. I'm not sure that Ben'll be so cavalier to do any more killing. The island helped a lot of people. It does not appear to have helped him.
Seems like the question of how much of Locke exists within Broham will be answered in whether or not Ben gets to live. One could say that he deserves The Island after all he's been through--though whether it would be a blessing or a curse is up for debate. I'm fine with Widmore being murdered. He was mean to Desmond, so he can shut up and die. Zoe, meh. I was right though, nobody mourns for Lapidus. :-[
It is entirely possible that Miles will figure out that Ben and Richard were intensely involved with his father's death. I'm guessing he's not going to take that too well. So if Richard is even alive at all now that Smokey thumped him but good, Miles may end up murdering them both. Again, I predict that Miles will remain on The Island and if there's a LOST spinoff, he will figure prominently.
Ultimately, I want some kind of firm and compelling resolution for Ben Linus. I want Kate to die, and Rose and Bernard to become new Others. I want references to the DeGroots, Joop, and an apology for Bad Twin. Wait...OMG, I've just now realized the significance of Bad Twin. Holy crap! Well, played, LOST. It's still a shitty book, but I understand now. And I want some mention of The Numbers, and of course--I want to see a friggin' Polar Bear. And Walt, I want to see Walt.
A show about Miles and Sawyer as cops would crack my ass up...
As for me, I'm gonna record, edit, and post Chapter 2 of A Stabbing for Sadie podcast tonight. My poor Mikey is having some time crunch issues, so I'm still waiting on him. Happily, the new Dami/Chandra is wonderful, so I'm excited to get a bunch of those chaps laid next week. I may have found a delightful Fran as well. So it's very exciting and fun. Plus, I love the theme song for Mikey.
Of course, I am having hard core LOST fans over on Sunday for the whole shebang. Do let me know if you'd like to attend.
