I don't watch Shark Week (Jaws was enough) but if Television Entropy has taught me one thing, its the unfortunate decline into "The Most Shocking" aspect of everything. You as the viewer are supposed to be SHOCKED by Sharks, not fascinated, intrigued or interested. Its like my recent spell with The Colony. It was fascnating at first because I enjoyed seeing how these people were going to survive and what they were going to INVENT to do so, which quickly declined into HOW MUCH EVERYONE HATES EVERYONE ELSE. While personality conflicts exist in nature, if we all hated each other that much Society would NEVER have survived until today.

As for the Nationalized health care, let me first say that I COMPLETELY AGREE 100% that our current health care system of "Making you work to get your denial approved". A friend of mine spend almost 10 years trying to get a breast reduction. Despite MY personal opinion about them it was fairly obvious to anyone that she had needed it pretty much since puberty. Denined, denined denined.

However, having said that, and seeing the only CURRENT Government Health Care Program, The VA, I am horrified by what might happen. Right behind the immaculate gleaming hospital I work at (Which I won't name just in case) is the VA hospital. Lets just say that walking into one after being in the other makes you feel like you've walked out of a Hospital from the year 3000, into one from the year 1900. And these are our VETERANS who fight our wars for us! If I had my arm blown off in Iraq fighting for the US I don't think its above my expectations to receive pretty awesome health care. I'm sure everyone who works there is trying their very best, but if that is an example of what Nationalized Health Care would look like.. I'd be afraid. Again, I'm not saying I'm AGAINST a health care system that WANTS to keep me alive, I just don't know if the one we get will be that one.
