I think I'd be closer to feeling as you do if the kid could actually *read*. His mother has been 'homeschooling' him, and he's illiterate. There's a whole lotta fail going on here, but I think it starts with the parents who tell their child that because chemo hurts, they should be able to let him die. Vaccines hurt too, but most parents understand that the benefits outweigh the pain.
