When you agree to work two extra hours for someone, those two hours become the longest and most terrible hours of the day.

At least I'll have some time to catch up on some Emailing and Facebooking.

I think I'm going to go to Homecoming at my Alma Mater this year in October. Because of Facebook, a lot of alumni are going to go. My college nemesis Emailed and asked if I wanted to ride out there with him. A lot of my nemeses have been extra nice to me since I got published, I notice. I may even bring H to the festivities. I haven't been up to Olivet to see the house kids in quite some time, should prove fun. I kind of miss college Greek life. Good stuff.

Have any of you seen Tropic Thunder yet? I'm trying to decide if I should see it in the theatre, or wait for the DVD. I really like Ben Stiller, but I don't think he directed this one.

Honore has not seen Cloverfield yet. I'm stoked to watch it with her.

H thinks it's funny that I have so many "frienemies." But I don't think I'm alone in this. I think most people have a buddy or two that drive them insane on many levels, but that they still hang out with from time to time.

I am that person to some people. There are people that I consider friends whom I know I drive insane from time to time with my constant ranting. Ask my wife, for starters....

The great thing about my job is that I can, if nothing else, drive by my alma mater during homecoming week. LOL.

I saw Tropic Thunder last weekend. I found it a lot funnier than I'd originally expected. I think Stiller did direct it. I'm actually not a fan of his in general, but I thought he did well with this one. The fact that they found a way for Downey, Jr. to play a role in black face that worked is pretty impressive. Nolte is also brilliant.

Really? I don't know if I even know who that is... must rack brain. Did I tell you that an Alpha E once showed up at my door and announced that I was her nemesis and she had come to tell her side of the story? I was all, "I was WHAT??" but apparently I always got everything she wanted in college and she even though she had never expressed the desire to HAVE any of those "things" she felt that I took them from her on purpose. I thought we were friends! Sheesh! It was a weird experience.
I don't have too many frenemies anymore. I've started weeding toxic people from my life. I deserve a real support network, not a collection of people who don't really care. You know?

Paul was Ken's roomate for a while. Blond guy...good looking but kind of a douche back then. Turned into a respectable guy with a soul. Whodathunkit?

I tend to keep certain people in my circle because I find them unique or interesting, not neccesarily because they are great friends. Happily, I also have plenty of good, good friends.
