Working but thinking of things far more interesting...
I'm at work, yet again. But I have three whole days off after today. Since I have to work July 5th (Saturday) I get a long weekend this weekend. Yay for me!!
I'm really going to try to do some more work on my serial killer, as I'd like to snag a 2010 release date for it. I have some more good ideas for an ending, which is really all I need at this point. Once I figure out how it ends, I can see what needs to be edited out, like the fire and the death of Dami at the hands of her daughter. Fluff! It's such a gripping story, I have high hopes for it.
Got a nibble from Borders about a book signing. The events manager at Arborland Borders suggested that once I got a BINC number I could have a signing there. I already sent in a book for that, so hopefully I'll be able to arrange that soon. Then all I need worry about is if no one shows up to the signing. Man...I thought getting a book published would be the end of my book related worry when really it's just the beginning.
Had to switch granola bars because while delicious, my old ones had 7 grams of fat apeice. Can you beleive that? No wonder I'm not losing any damn weight. Thes new ones have only 4. I'm feeling pretty good, no sign of that horrible lower back pain since that one night.
Didn't watch Be Kind Rewind yet, but I imagine I will this weekend. Got sucked into Harry Potter 5 instead. Such a good movie!
Also, is Hancock a comedy? Or is it some kind of dramedy? Is it serious? I thought from the trailers that it was a comedy, but the new stuff I'm seeing makes it look more serious and dramatic. I wish I liked Will Smiths movies more. I like him, but he does so much crappy scifi and stuff. I am Legend was wholly disappointing.
