Wherein I talk about LOST.

This season's LOST finale is the best one since the first one. That's probably because season four has been the best season since the first. Michael Emerson is due for his Emmy, you heard it here first! ;-] I adore Michael Emerson as the creepy lunatic. Always have. It's so fun for us fans when they write parts especially tailored to the actors. I think that's one of the reasons LOST works so well, they didn't write complex characters and then cast the closest thing. They really wrote the parts for the actors they wanted.

It's a joy and a relief that they have finally started answering questions instead of endlessly asking them. We know now that The Others were taking the children for Alpert, and that, as predicted, it was John Locke in the coffin. We also know that there are only two more seasons, which means it's all gotta be wrapped up in 34 episodes. It sounds like a lot, but it'll go by fast.

The Penny/Desmond reunion was totally weepworthy, even moreso than last week's Sayid/Nadia mashup. I love the romances on LOST, except for Kate's. Kate's annoying, but I could watch Rose and Bernard interact all day long. They seem to imply that Juliet and Sawyer might end up getting busy, which I might point out, will be Sawyer's third island conquest. Not sure what that says about him, but as a viewer, I loves it!

As for Jin, I want to hang onto hope that he is alive. He isn't though. Not just because he's playing Sulu in the new Star Trek movie, but because he was on a big ship when it exploded, and there was no island to swim back to. Sun says 2 people are to blame for Jin's death. One is her father. Is the other one Widmore? Ben? Jack? Kate even? I guess we'll have to wait until next season when they are all trying to get back to the island.

I hope we get to see more of Michelle Forbes. She's the first and only person thusfar to appear on LOST and Batlestar Galactica. Neat. She was also on homicide, and in the movie Kalifornia. Quite a resume.

And yeah...did you guys see the island disappear? That was cool.

So I will await next season with baited breath, as LOST continues to be one of the best shows on TV.

they made mention of two other endings (i was only able to catch about 20 minutes of the show last night) and that they would be on the good morning show or whatever. are they putting those on abc.com? i mean, i suppose i could just go look for myself, but i'm at work and you know, already being all silly playing on lj and what not. yeah...this is rambly. :)

as for kate, she is annoying. that is all. :)

Two other endings? I've not heard about this.

*runs off to check it out*

Er? Daniel Dae Kim isn't playing Sulu. Where'd you get that? It's a dude named John Cho. DDK just did the Andromeda Strain, which was kinda cool. DDK was also on a series I loved, a B-5 spinoff called Crusade.

Are you as geeky as I am? When I saw the ad for Octagon Global Recruiting, I went straight to the website. I'm such a nerd. :) But there wasn't much there yet. I've not really kept up with the online games.

Really? I hate being misinformed. One of my nerd friends told me that. We saw Andromeda Strain, it was okay for a made for TV movie, I thought.

I try not to geek out too much, but sometimes I can't help myself.

Who's Alpert? I must have missed that whole story. I always wondered what happened to the Taily children. When Sun was talking to Widmore, didn't she mention that "we weren't the only ones who got off the island"? I'm thinking the people in the rubber boat may have been rescued, too. Weren't they in the water when the island moved?

Richard Alpert is the guy who never ages. He was at Locke's birth and still looks the same currently.

That's possible about the people on the raft, I'd like to see at least Faraday live.
