I agree with those who mention others words. I quoted Leonard Cohen on mine*:

Days may not be fair, always
Yeah but that's when I'll be there, always
Not for just an hour,
Not for just a day,
Not for just a year, but always.

I said that I'll be loving you, always
with a love that's true, always.
When the thing you've planned
needs my helping hand,
I will, I will understand, always, always

The days may not be fair, always
Yeah but that's when I'll be there, always
Not for just a second, or a minute, or an hour,
Not for just the summer and the winter going sour,
But always, always, always

*Of course, as a writer, I expect you to be able to do it yourself. In fact, it may be one of the most important emotional things for you to write. You know my feelings on stating that "I like something, just because..." isn't a real answer, and it's the job of writers and communicators and artists to put these feelings into something tangible. To put into words something that others will say, "I totally understand what they meant, and I can use those words to express how I feel about my beloved someday." Whatever you decide to do will be great, but I would encourage you to write something that was your own, just for the challenge to nail how you feel for the man you love.
