Day off...

It is soo nice to have a day off after such a hellish 6-day straight week. I am really a "part time worker" kinda person, so a 6-day week complete with double shifts is just horrid for someone such as myself.
Last night, I set my alarm for work just so I could have the satisfaction of turning it off and going back to sleep. Ahhhhh *sleepy grin*.

Of course, now that I am home my cable is not working, the long distance is out, and I have no weed. Damn! I have a DVD player but no DVD's except H's, and I'm certainly not watching cheap sci-fi, action flicks or anime. Sorry anime lovers, but I just don't get into that stuff. And my eyes aren't shaped like that.

I am, however, wanting to buy Pymptoons, the collected works of Bill Pympton, who is as awe inspiring as he is hilarious. I will also get Harry Potter, LOTR, and some Romero movies right away.

I also feel like having some sex. Schwab, when are you coming over?

Gee...too bad there isn't, like, some place in town that would, like, just LOAN you a DVD to watch, ya know? Maybe you could, like, borrow a movie and, like, you could give them a few bucks and stuff, like, ya know?

Other options:

Go buy a new one.

Go buy a used one.

Go to a place that trades DVDs and exchange some of H.'s for ones you want to watch them tell him they were Taken In The Interests of National Security.

Go to the nearest store that charges too much for DVDs, read the back of a couple you like until the path to the door is clear and then RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN.

Make a new friend, borrow thier movies, then accuse them of stealing your pot and never speak to them again. Also, tell them you moved.

Hope this helps.

Bill plymton is awesome. I first saw his animations on that really shitty sketch comedy show The Edge. His stuff was great but the show SUCKED.

Yes, You are quite right about the edge.

I saw some of his stuff also on liquid Television, which is where I fell in love with "Your Face" and Furniture Love.

I do not own The Tune either.

Many of these things have happened to me when I worked at Bbuster. Managing that place was almost as bad as managing for McDonalds. Now I am not managing. Wheee!

It would be foolish to trade H's DVD's, since I bought most of them for him anyway. He DOES have heavenly Creatures though...

I was upset that there are No Extras on that!

I was thinking about buying the MEET THE FEEBLES DVD tonights. I have a bootleg video of it

Oooh, that's Schwab's favorite PJ movie (well, he told me that B4 LOTR, so perhaps no, now).

Let me know if there's good stuff on it.

Too bad you are far away, we're having a hell of a party tomorrow night.

Bought FEEBLES last night - may watch it with as yet uninitiated friends tonight

No extras promised on the box

So sad - hoped FOX and PORCUPINE would do cast commentary

I don't like The Tune as much as I Married a Strange Person.

Really?

Maybe that's because you and I like different drugs.
