H-day 28

Today is H's birthday, but since we both have to work tonight, we are celebrating on Sunday. It is my last day off until New Years.
He is getting a shirt with Stone Cold Steve Austin on it, a mouse pad with calculator (for nerding it up), Blade and blade 2 on DVD, and some other stuff I've got around. He better love all of it.

My gel candles turned out pretty cool. Hopefully, the granola will turn out likewise tonight and I'll be close to done with the Xmas making of stuff.

Now, I'm off to work to talk to mean crowds about long, long films. How should I handle people who yell out mean things to me? I mean, ways I can actually use at work without being fired.

What mean things have been yelled? I can help think up some retorts, but I can't promise you'll be able to use them without getting fired. :)

Taht's just it. I'm all good with the sarcasticv comebacks, but I have to look professional in front of an entire crowd, so I can't let people know they are riling me.

So far I just pause and say "dang, tough room" then continue after someone laughs in support of me. The oldsters are good for that.
