Holiday Stress!!!
After a really stressful day at work, I realized that I am also stressed about all the stuff I have to do for Christmas.
Before Saturday night I have to make 3 triple batches of granola, 14 or so candles, a gingerbread bordello, and sort out gifts for H's birthday (for which I must also bake a cake), and for everyone at work, including making a VHS tape for one of my bosses, and finishing the astrological profile I've been working on for my hot, hot boss.
Also, I am closing at the theatre everydamn night, almost. Actually, I will have 2 days off between now and new years.
Work is going to be incredibly busy. I don't complain about my job much, but I must say that many of the staff people at my work don't seem to understand what "job" means. It means you have to show up, and do work when there is work to be done. You can't bring walkman's or radios, or your children to work with you. You have to care about giving good customer service, which means being attentive, giving correct information, and not swearing in front of them. And you also need to clean up after yourself.
We have a gnat problem at work everywhere except the box office, and in the actual theatres. And what do I keep finding in the box office? 2-3 old day french fries, popcorn and sodas...gross!
I love my job, and my freinds but I am tired and fucking stressed.
So everyone please be nice to me until at least New Years Day.
