Take THAT, Guernica!!!
BOOM!!!
I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with my own ability to buckle down and get some shit done. As I was just saying in my writing journal, it seems that the best way to get it done is to sit down and do it. As of right now, I am caught up thru midnight tomorrow, by my own (higher, but still pretty average) standards. Yeah, I did it without having a job to go to like many of you, but don't forget: I'm crazy. *wink*
I finished chapter five, which introduces the serial-killer-loving librarian, and am halfway done with chapter six about the security guard who lives with his fundie christian mother. He's about to find a dead body and it's about to get eaten by something....with sexy results. Okay no...not with sexy results, I've just always wanted to say that. This particular story will be mixing a lot of different horror elements though hopefully in a more cohesive way than say, From Dusk Till Dawn. I really like it so far, but after I finish the first seven chapters, it's going to become much more difficult to figure out what will go where. That's one of the reasons I like having to rush through it, I can't waste months mulling it over.
