After having some sugar, I am feeling much better about life. I have a bunch of stuff i have to do the rest of this week, and my skills as both a hostess and a cook will be tested in the coming days. I am cooking for H's sister, plus bringing food to work since we are working and the mall is closed. We're having veggie stir-fry for thanksgiving (if I had to make Tofurkey, I would surely die), and I'm making a red velvet cake for the sis's birthday which is Friday.

Next week, the corpulent dude in the red suit starts hanging out at the mall to pick up children or whatever. That will be good only because life will feel so much better when the jolly fat guy leaves, taking his barrage of stocking makers, pictures takers, candy-cane hander-outers, and tall-ass elves with him. Come on Dec 26th!!!

As for me, I can't wait to see Jimmy Claus...I even have a HOT date. (No, a different one.)
