Update
Let's see, the gas is back on and I'm running the dishwasher as we speak. We have about 3 loads of dishes sitting around the kitchen, so I suppose that's how I'll spend the better part of my early evening...doing dishes. At least I don't have to do them by hand.
Missed my doc appointment today but no worries, I will make it up tomorrow after seeing my head-doc to talk about new pills I can take while I'm abstaining from drugs. *insert tired irony here* It's such a drag going to all these wacky appointments all the time. But if they actually find a pill that improves my life, dammit, I'll take it.
In better news, I have a meet and greet that will (if it goes well) precede a real job interveiw. It's a second shift gig at a company called ImageMaster which is right around the corner from me. Of course once I move it will be much farther away...ah sweet irony! Anyway, the woman I talked to seemed a bit uptight about my outgoing phone message (which is clever, but very tame). Plus I never seem to do well at these things, but I don't want to get all self-defeaty before I even get the gig. It is, however, a casual dress environment where customers never go.
And finally, most of you know that I am not very up-to-the-minute when it comes to new video games. But this Jaws game looks fucking amazing.
