Oh yeah, it's a Holiday.
Of course on the one day I feel ambitious enough to take the bus the mall so's I can replenish my supply of Nag Champa, it turns out to be one of those days where the busses don't run because of a churchy holiday. That seems a bit odd, because how are all those oldsters going to get thier wrinkly asses to church without the busses? That's probably disrespectful to both Jesus and oldsters alike, but I'm okay with that. I'm suficiently annoyed that I didn't get my Nag Champa.
My package from Eden Botanicals did arrive yesterday. So I have a few new parfume oils to delight in, they sent me some great free samples. Thier samples cost $2 apeice, so I was thrilled to get three free.
I don't mean to imply that I didn't get semi hooked up for Easter though. Those crazy kids,
uterdic and
smarbaby gave H and I a swell chicken enchilada dinner. It even came in those sweet reusable gladwear dealies I love so well. So not only am I well fed, but I didn't have to cook lunch. Plus Katie brought me a giant bag of peanut M&M's in Easter colors. They are in the same color scheme as those Legos for girls they make sometimes, you know...so girls don't have to deal with the ferocity of primary colors. I'm also partaking of my second can of Coca Cola in two days. Yeah...I'm just a crazy maniac it seems.
This week I'm going to try to add a new chapter to my novel, because it kind of needs one. Danny the nerd-boy is going to get a chapters worth of back story, which I think he needs. Then once I iron out that chapter and chapter 20, I should be ready to formulate a summary and start sending out queries. That will be the most scariest part. I'm still a little nervous about finding out whether or not I suck, according to the publishing world I mean. Or even worse, what if they tell me that my book shows promise but needs a lot of work, but I have no idea how to fix it. Man...Project Greenlight is terrifying me, maybe I should stop watching for awhile. This poor director is having a terrible time.
Speaking of bad times, I lost my ebay auction so I have no new hard drive coming my way in the near future. It looks like I'm (and when I say I, I mean H) going to have to spend more on this than I thought. I couldn't do my software updates today because there was not enough room on my HD. Gggrrrrr.
So the search goes on I suppose!
