More Good News:

H is finally almost done with P's birthday gift. And a good thing too, since his birthday was weeks ago.

Holy cow! You actually did an online quiz? Little did you realise that the information you gave us is being sent to an unknown government agency for evil use against you! Don't try to leave, we are already watching.

H burned a new disc of Final Draft 6 for me, and it worked on my new computer.
So I was able to get my screenplay opened up although the plot holes are not fixed just yet. Of course, now that I know you can win Project Greenlight with a sub-par script with giant issues, I'm not as worried as i once was. Okay, that's not true. I want to make good films, if I ever do get it together to make a film. And the last place I'd take a good film I worked hard on would be Miramax, I must say. Besides, I'd be much more likely to approach Lions Gate or Dark Castle before any of those Hollywood types.
Also, [profile] lachupacabra do you still want Final Draft 6? I'll send it to you in the mail if you do. Email me your address, por favor.

Went to therapy today. I still really like my counselor. She is so not full of shit.
Plus it turns out that if I can stay clean for awhile, I can work on some behavior mod stuff and some kind of treatment that is supposed to make it so i can drive a car.
Well, I'll need driving lessons too...but the anxiety issues can be dealt with and man...I can't even describe how different my life would be if I were that mobile.

I'm in the midst of ironing out some rough spots in my novel. I still have not decided on a title I love.
A Stabbing for Sadie is still the working title.

Grownup Harry Potter fans, feast your eyes on the "nudity".
Thanks to [profile] lachupacabra for hipping me to that.

EDIT: If you're a big slacker who is checking LJ at work instead of working;-) please be advised that the above clicky may not be work safe. Although I guess that depends on whether your workplace appreciates soft-core porn based on childrens literature. My last workplace would have been totally down with it.

If they give ME a drivers license, I'm sure /you/ can get one. ;-)

How about a little NSFW disclaimer!!!
Whew...good thing the guys were in their offices! :) :) :)

Funnily enough, I have had a drivers liscense since I was 18. I even switched it to Massachusettes, then switched it back without ever having to take a driving test. I mean written tests are cake.

I just never drive, I've driven less than 20 times my whole life, including driving school. It makes me very nervous, I have nightmares about it.

Well, I know I had similar axieties when I first started to drive. Comfort is a big part of it.

Sorry, I never really do that. It seems like checking LJ at work is inherently risky in that way. But you're right, it is an accepted etiquette thing.

I've heard this is fairly common. It will probably help not to have my mother screaming from the passengers seat.

I was mainly just "busting balls" :)

If I had been using my brain muscles (which are atrophying as I work at this job) and read...you know...PLAYWITCH...perhaps the lightbulb would have gone off in my head :) :) :) Hence all the smiley faces.

No worries.

Um, I think when you say, "Look at the nudity" people should realize it's not 'work safe.'

I figured a lot of people would enjoy that site. I certainly did...although I can't imagine that Alan Rickman (or Snape for that matter) is really so outrageously well hung.
