Firstly, let me just thank the losers at WB for starting Smallville early, and therefore making me miss the beginning. That was The Suck.

However, it's a fact that it's taken me all this time to realize that this whole crappily written season was just a pretense to the whole "Magic can hurt Superman" premise. And before all my pagan buddies get into an uproar, it's Magic, not Magick. So you can put down your quills and stop writing angry, angry letters. Anyway, if you're a nerd, looking for nerdy smallville stuff online, lookee here!

I don't really want to go to my counseling thingy tomorrow, but I can't start making a habit of skipping meetings. If I do that, I'll never start going again.

The novella editing is coming along fairly well, and I'm confident that i'll make my second session NaNo goal with little difficulty.

I often hear a little voice in my head telling me I should really check out that new Superman show... but now that voice is extinguished.

It is a well established fact that magic can hurt Superman. But they went about introducing it in an incredibly round-about way that i didn't even connect with the other storyline. But then, I try really hard to suspend my disbeleif when watching stuff I like.

Besides, if you can turn down the horrible pop music, Smallville is a great show.

The thing is, my usual LJ is read by:
a) friends at work
b) my downstairs neighbor
c) my blabbermouth sister
d) an ex-girlfriend
e) sundry other people who know me in the meat-world.

...so there's a LOT of stuff I just can't say in my LJ. Not the least of which is ANY details about my Department-change at work, or the emotional side-effects. Yipes! In fact, I'll probably post a remark or two in a certain LJ community, regarding a particularly odd bit of emotional fall-out. Dunno if I'll be able to bring myself to write it...

I hear that from a lot of people, that they have to be really careful what they blog about because of who reads. I guess that's one of the up sides of my not being around my family is that I don't give a shit, and write whatever i want.

Well, luckily additional LJs are free, and one can be selective about who gets clued-in. Preferably, in this case, not the people who actually know me.

Well, you'll see why, when I post as that other user, in that community.
