Just in case you have some flying fucks to give:

Prince makes "honest woman" of home-wrecking whore!

No silly, not THAT "Prince": the one who is named after the Vietcong...Charlie!

They get back at her though by calling her "Princess Consort". I mean, that's pretty humiliating in my opinion. :-) Maybe a Scarlet Letter next. (God I hated that book)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Do they really call her that?

My god. How awful.

[identity profile] raggedrose.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 08:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Jesus H Christ, what a way to refer to her!

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, i suppose that's a tad harsh, especially since I know very well that Chaz and Cammy were together long before he married Di.

I guess I'm just feeling snarky today. Besides, i don't imagine the royal fam reads my journal religiously.

[identity profile] sudrin.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, they will when he becomes the King of England. She can never take the title of Queen. So that's the title she gets.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Meh, I guess that's not so bad.

If I had that kind of money, I wouldn't give a rats ass what the "peasants" called me. ;-)

Thankfully,

I'd just put down my water before hitting 'refresh'.

If ONLY Chuckie-boy had ever managed to be as offensive or spiteful as the VC, then he might be marginally interesting. And as for his chickie... he shoulda stood up against Mummy a long, long time ago.

[identity profile] raggedrose.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that was *you.* I thought it was them.

Hell, at least you were honest about it.

Me, I'm not so pure I can judge. But hey, it's your lj.

[identity profile] skryche.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
The couple -- lovers during Charles' tumultuous marriage to Diana -- plan a quiet...

I think it's just crazy how blasé people are about that. Especially considering how beloved Di was. It's all water under the bridge, I guess...

[identity profile] sweinberg.livejournal.com 2005-02-10 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
As just another ignorant America, I really couldn't give two wet slaps about the "royals." Truly tragic about Princess Diana, but the marriages and affairs of these outdated figureheads are about as interesting as J. Lo's new man-ho. Plus he's marrying the girl he was nailing...while he was married to the Princess...who has since been killed (murdered?) in horrific fashion.

I thought Kings and Queens were supposed to be, like, admirable.

No disrespect intended to the English. I'm actually a very big fan of the UK. If it weren't for them, comedy would have become extinct about 20 years ago.

Actually, they'll probably call her the Duchess of Cornwall, like Prince Phillip is called the Duke of Edinburgh instead of Prince Consort. The only spouse of an English monarch to actually use the title consort was Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's hubbie.

God, I'm embarrassed I know this stuff.

"I am just coming down to earth"
...yeah...just don't hurt yourself on the way "down"......

(*randomness*)I LOVE your Icons!

[identity profile] nate101000.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 03:10 am (UTC)(link)
That's not very nice.

Logically speaking the mistress didn't really do anything wrong. It wasn't her job to make sure Chuck stayed faithful. The responsibility for an affair is 100% on the burden of the married party.

[identity profile] anarchys-savior.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
I'm curious...why on Buddha's blue Earth does England have royalty??? It's like, the dumbest thing EVER. This is the 21st century. They don't even do anything except get lots of money for living in a soap opera. It's annoying.

Re: Thankfully,

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
I agree.

Although I have to say, I'm not really into the whole "princess" thing; but that Diana was a good one.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
I think that's where my venom comes from for that whole situation. If the royal family didn't have such giant sticks up thier asses about "purity of blood" (sounds familiar, Harry Potheads?) business, he could have married Cam in the first place and spared a wonderful woman a lot of heartache (Di, I mean). You'd think they'd know by now that kind of crap just breeds infidelity, and that not everyone will stand for it.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
Ha. so true. And you know, that whole Beatles thing was a lot of fun.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
I must return the compliment.

I love Butters.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry if I don't agree.

If you and I had an affair *wink* I would certainly have some culpability there.

[identity profile] sweinberg.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but are they off the hook for Spice Gals yet?

Tough to say.

Shaun of the Dead WAS really good, tho. Oh, and The Office.

Yeah, they've made up for Space Gulls. Easily.

[identity profile] nate101000.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 02:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Well on an emotional level you are right. You should feel a responsibility to treat people with respect, which includes my wife. But it wouldn't be your fault that I cheated. That would be mine, and mine alone.

[identity profile] the-omega-man.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
As just another ignorant American, I really couldn't give two wet slaps about the "royals."

Funnily enough, the majority of us ignorant brits feel exactly the same way. I do resent paying for the upkeep of these inbred, homunculoid German fucks though.

[identity profile] sweinberg.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I wasn't about to get that nas-tay, since I'm just a lowly American who knows next to nothing about the royal family.

Just seems like a ruling system that's waaaaay outlived its usefulness...just don't tell the Queen that!

[identity profile] black-rose7.livejournal.com 2005-02-11 07:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Who doesn't?
