My thoughts about TV et cetera:
Tonights new Simpsons was very funny. From the Mario, to the cameo's to the Jeff Albertson bombshell. Good stuff.
American Dad was pretty funny too. A tad derrivative maybem but what isn't. It's more of that yummy, speedy humor that Seth McFarlane does so well.
If anyone missed it, you can come over and watch it.
Is Chris Noth coming to CI permanently, or just once during sweeps? I can't tell from the articles, and desperately need to know.
Even though I hate PG-13 thrillers, I will probably have to see Cursed just because of the amazing cast they have assembled. Michael Rosenbaum and Scott Baio in the same film with Christina Ricci and James Brolin. It's madness I tells ya.
Speaking of PG-13 thrillers that suck, everyone who paid to see Boogeyman this weekend needs to form a single file line and prepare for me to kick your ass.
Why don't you all just give ME seven million dollars over the course of one weekend. I guarantee I can be more entertaining than that hunk of trash.
Tomorrow morning is my employment rehab orientation, where I will begin the process of getting a new job.

Talk about a bombshell
Still amazed. As soon as he introduced himself as Jeff, I was like...did you see that? Did you see that? What just happened?

Re: Talk about a bombshell
I'm all too aware that you don't enjoy the newer eps as much, lots of fans don't from what I gather. I do find it funny that they dealt with an ongoing fan question with very little fanfare. Usually there's more hype surrounding such things, ie: the current kerfluffle over Patty finally coming out.
Anyway, they usually give us something good after the superbowl, so I'm glad i stayed up.

I think I know, but I want to hold out long enough to give Wes Craven the benefit of the doubt.
PS, H has talked me into watching Battlestar Gallactica, so I'm going to catch up.

But yeah, since it's on Mondays also, he's been trying to watch. And has been damn impressed. Even though I don't really have time for new TV, H and I don't watch anything together religiously, so I thought I'd give this a whirl for him.

07:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA 33
08:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA WATER
09:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA BASTILLE DAY
10:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA ACT OF CONTRITION
11:00 PM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN
You might want to check the times, because I don't know if thats an hour later for you or not. I can't tell how the Sci Fi channel is doing its scheduling. I will say though, that BSG is my favorite Sci Fi show since DS9. Not that this would motivate you to watch any more, just me going on about it. :-)
Re: Talk about a bombshell
This raises two problems for me though. The first is that after 15 years together I think the simpsons are just taking a different path them I am. I hate to say it and it brings me much pain but I think we are growing apart. The second problem is that I am sarcastic so much, people often cannot tell when I am being sincere or sarcastic. I am not sure how to work on this. BUt I recognize it as a problem.

But it's BARRY WATSON, who along with the MR, made Sorority Boys one hell of a funny movie. I love Barry Watson. I'm totally going to see that flick just for him.
As for Cursed, I have to go simply because it's done by one-time god-of-horror (and now washed-up-has-been) Wes Craven. I have to see if his career can recover from his last few flops. God, I miss the days of the original Nightmare on Elm Street (even though I was like two months old at the time...I still felt it, man).
