Thanks to [profile] sudrin for the classy pic of me at my last B-day party. Note my intense cuteness.

In other news, here's something else PC fools can suck on while they are debugging or installing software or whatever in the hell techincal crap you people are always doing. I mean, I'm not trying to get all nerdy on you or anything, but just LOOK at this thing! If I had a job, even I could afford one! Not to mention, I don't even see why I'd need a CD player if I invested in one of these. Nobody tell H, but I just might marry Steve Jobs.

The mac mini is cool. Im hoping that my sister can get one. She is in serious need of a new computer. Her imac 450 is SLOW! But really you need to love Jonathan Ive... He is the one who designed it.

Im a hard core apple geek (seriously.... when I left my apple sales job, they offered me a $3/h raise to stay. All because they said they never saw anyone who knew so much about all-things apple.)

:)
hey pretty lady.

I just want to go on record as saying that as much as I respect Jobs and the Macintosh computer, until that sucker allows SOMEONE ELSE to build his hardware, he will always enjoy second place. =)

I really like that picture of you. It captures the fun that is WEDNES!!

you look so coy in that picture!!!

Actually it would be a bad for mac users if we all converted. If 95% of computer users were using macs, then you guys would know what a virus is. Being a small target is the only thing keeping you guys safe. That said, I don't think that Macs will ever take over, so you guys are safe. And I'll be safe as soon as I get my new Mini Mac. I WILL have one before 2006. It's just the incentive I was waiting for. I just checked it out at the website, and the Mac I want would only cost $732.00.

Of course for $499 you could get a PC that includes the monitor. But you'll probably spend $500 in time and software tweaking it over the next year, just to keep it working right. Where with the mac you will spend, what... $0 in time and money tweaking it.

Awww, Nate, that's the nicest thing you've eve said about Macs. I agree with you too. We would have a ton moe problems if everyone used them. We like being superior in our little club.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I really don't understand why any sensible person wouldn't want a Mac. I heart them.

I would have guessed that you were an apple guy, just because you're into graphic arts. Creative people tend to have apples just because apples do more and better creative stuff.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
*blush*

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
So noted. ;-)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's a cute one.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Tee hee. I was in a silly mood.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-12 09:09 pm (UTC)(link)
It just doesn't seem like it would be that hard to find a cheap, used monitor. all I really need to do with a computer is go online, make pictures, write, write screenplays and store things. So I don't want to be spending crazy money on a system. But this would let me get a new computer (first time ever) that I could reasonably afford once I am employed.

the only concern i would have with that mac mini is it says in fine print that certain items would have to be installed at the factory not in store... well would that not allow someone to upgrade certain items in it when they find they need more than what it has to offer? so in turn spend an extra 500-900 bucks on another one instead of paying 100 bucks for the upgrade they need...

Note my intense cuteness.

it's hard not to! sexy! (and i mean it!)

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-13 04:32 am (UTC)(link)
That makes sense. Myself, my needs are quite minimal, so i wouldn't need to be upgrading things all the time.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-13 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you!

*giggle, waves hand dismissively*

[identity profile] skryche.livejournal.com 2005-01-13 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
So THAT's what you look like.

I have no difficulty reconciling the writings with the visage.

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2005-01-13 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
amazing, no?
