Well, the inspiration for the Slutty Dancing/Gentleman Cop in my novella has died. Very sad. And no new L&O Trial By Jury it would seem...sad.

H is back to work today, which is also a drag after having him around for five whole days. I'm still pretty bummed he will be missing my awesome NYE party.

In the last 2 days, we watched all 3 of the extended LotR's movies. That's over 11 hours of watchin'. Damn, is was freakin' sweet. I was glad most everyone lived, especially Faramir...that guy had a tough road to travel, I must say. But I do stand by my earlier assertion that the three films were eqally good, and that the Academy Awards are a bunch fo crap. We also watched Anchorman, which was hilarious once again.

Come January 2th, I'm going to start paying attention to diet once again. I'll be going back on meds, whch means things will be harder for awhile, then easier, then I'll be strung out on legal drugs...analgesics in fact. Which is, of course, fine with the government and NA, AA, and the docs. It's fine to be strung out on pain killers, so long as they are part of their racket and not the dope guy's racket. Of course, until I get a job, there will be no more weed for Wednes, which is more than I can even contemplate at this point...
I know I've been saying this a lot, but dammit, I hate not having a job.

Hey Wednes...they have me scheduled 6-Close 12/31 at the movies. I'm hoping no-one buys tix for the last set, so DR & I can get out by around 11:00. I'll keep you posted.

I hadn't had a date since 1999, and that was with She who shall not be named...so protocol is something I'm a little rusty with.
