*sings* It's the most suicide inducing time of the year...no really. It is!
Man...with all my depression and craziness, I totally forgot that H's birthday is the 20th and Xmas is the 25th...and that is totally soon!!
I am sending cookies and cakes (made with half Splenda) to H's grandparents, H's moms family, H's dad's family, and Walt.
I'm also ging a nice gift of cookies to K and N, C and P, R and K, and my buddy Steves family...and a little something for all my usual Saturday night guests.
Hope everybody likes deliciousness!
Last night I modified the Amish friendship recipe into something light and lemony.
Today I made two batches of dough for thumbprint cookies that will come in a variety of jelly flavors. So I'll begin the laborious process of rolling them out, dipping them in coconut and baking them on parchment. The I just have to figure out how I'm going to fit one more damn thing into my freezer.
Tomorrow will probably be spicy peanut brittle making.
I also found a recipe for peanut butter brownies I want to try.
I really wanted to make H his favorite marzipan cake for his birthday. But I haven't been able to find a tube of marzipan anywhere.
Sad days. He'll have to be happy with a spaghetti dinner and an extended edition of Two Towers.
If only someone would give me a job, I could get him #3 as well.
It seems that I can't get in to see the psych doc until January.
Until then, everyone should please be extra nice to me.
