In other news, it's raining outside, which I can only assume means that the sky is weeping at the loss of an amazing phtographer.

For whatever reason, some of todays news stories are fascinating me enough to make me want to share them with you. Like this silly story about Mel Gibson. Here's my question Mel: why not just pray with the guy already and send him on his way. I mean, if you're going to be praying anyway, why does it matter who you're with.

On Gibson
Ohmigosh! It's nice that Mel Gibson finds his church so important (it really is, no sarcasm here) but even tho he's a Christian doesn't mean he should pray to everyone who demands it. Here I assumed that only not-Christians were harrassed by ppl who wanted to pray with them. Geez, I hope that guy (who bugged Mel Gibson) will understand not to do that to people. Asking others to pray with you is just fine - as lng as they don't harrass people who say no (sheesh!). Oh a funny note I had some Evangelists approach me, encouraging me to vote for Bush. They wanted to pray with me that 'someone with morals' would win the election. At least they were nice when I said 'no thank you' and 'here's some extra gloves so you don't freeze your ass off when you're evangelizing'. (I found them but I didn't like them) *shrugs*
