Day of Saturn:

My beloved roomate is out of town for the day, and he has taken the hairy, smelly noise machine with him. Hooray for silence!!!
Of course, if I ever figure out which of our neighbors has that car alarm that is just the horn blaring for 20 minutes...I'm gonna pound that sucker in with a baseball bat. That reminds me, I need to buy a baseball bat...or maybe a cricket bat depending on which is more cost effective.

As many of you know, I'm a big fan of 30 second bunny theatre ! it seems they they are finally getting some of the funding and love they deserve...and will be appearing on Starz! this halloween!!! So that will be grand.

Now that I mention it, I don't know what I'll be doing for the scariest night of the year. I may host a scary movie party where candy is served. I may drink alone and cry (not really--you sillies!) or if the theatre is open and I am working there...I may have to work. Ah work...so sweetly the words roll off my typing fingers. WoooooorrrK!

This weekend, all of my avatars shall be changed to "scary" ones in honor of the pending holiday. Especially since the new Simpsons halloween ep will once again not appear until November. Viacom/FOX: you are really pushing my buttons...you damn media conglomerate you! Anyway, here's a taste of scare:

psycho
You are Norman Bates, from "Psycho."
You're creepy, sexy, and have serious mother issues.
Now I'm off to have a shower!

they couldn't even put the Halloween episode on Halloween?...it's on a Sunday this year and everything...

I don't know what I'll be doing, but so far it looks like I may be working for one of my coworkers who's on maternity leave...exciting, I know...

I imagine they will show a mini-marathon of Halloween ep's past on Halloween. But yeah, all the other seaon premeires are in September...I don't know why they have to be such clowns.

The simpsons are pretty much one disappointment after another at this point for me.

I had never seen those bunnies before!! Yay, crazy bunnies!

I think Fox's sports coverage (like the World Series) is to blame...I also blame their coverage of NFL Football for Futurama not getting proper attention...

I thought last season had a lot of good moments. But certainly the Treehouse of Horror eps have gone downhill. We're due for a funny one this year, I should think.

Even if its not as good as it used to be, it's still better than anything on network...except maybe Law & Order.

Oh yes, they do good work.

Plus the choice of films they do is much to my taste.

True dat.

You calls 'em like you see's em...and that's fine by me.

I have a few mother issues of my own, of course. ;=)

i just noticed the theater you will be applying at... just some info on the guy you will be working for... Greg Urrutia - great guy to work for, laid back easy to talk to. His brother is or was the Vice President of operations at Star Theaters. Greg used to be the GM at the Star theaters John R the one i used to manage at. God that has been years ago now that i think about it (scary it is)

Really? Can I use you as a reference? I can always use a good ref, who knows what Karl might say about me ;-)

I have to admit out of all of those movies I have only seen Jaws and the exorcist.

Hmmm...I think the Alien trilogy is excellent (nevermind anything after 3) and The Shinning is a classic. But then, I'm an avid horror fan.

The bunnies saying "The power of Christ compels you still cracks me up coming from those bunnies.
