J. Jonas Jameson AKA Amil Skoda

Went to see Spiderman with H. It was really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really good.

Everybody got some character development, and twice i was moved to tears. Aunt May is the greatest woman who ever lived to raise a hero. Way better than Alfred in many ways, though obviously not as technologiccally advanced. I guess Dylan Baker will be back next time...
Nice cameos as well.

let's see:
your name
do you smoke?
do you drink?
stronger drugs?
your favourite activity
you are An undiscovered genius
you wish you were God
you hope To get dressed and out of the couch before the shops close
people think you are Dark
intelligent people though, think you are Just lazy
but, really, you're just You

Looking thru yahoo! News today I saw this article that would have made me spit out soda if I had been drinking any. Why have I been missing twilight zone? THIS is why! Last time I boycott to protect the integrity of a celebrity. The Village is still going to be awesome though. I'm also looking forward to that movie where Tom Cruise is an assasin, and Manchurian Candidate. Liev Schriber is one hot little number...and plenty intense.

Now I'm off to watch ken win even more money on Jeopardy!

Oh, Wednesday, no. The action scenes were good, but I couldn't stand the hammy dialogue. Especially Aunt May's lines.

They should have called it Spiderman 2: Aunt May Speaks Out.

But Alfred Molina was great, as were many of the action scenes.

Well, at one point she *did* get a tad verbose with the hero stuff. But I thought that was her way of telling Peter that she knew he was Spiderman. She must have figured it out after Peter told her about Uncle Ben (not the rice guy).

Well that would explain why she never brought up the thing about Peter running off when Doc Oct attacked.

I thought S2 was a quality sequel, something you don't
see too often. And we have one more Sam Raimi installment
to look forward to.

That Jeopardy guy is out of control.
I saw him in action for the first time, last week.
He was at around 17G, I got momentarily distracted, looked
back up, and he has 32G! He's a madman.

Yep. *swoon*

I agree. Spidey 2 was excellent! I loved Doc Ock. He was awesomely complex and creepy!

did you like spiderman 2?

[identity profile] wednes.livejournal.com 2004-07-22 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed i did, hence my overuse of the word "really". I thought it had a good mix of action and story without being dominated by either genre. I enjoyed the progression of the characters and all the performances were good.
