Cowboy Kittens
Had a rather nice day. Got up early and took care of some job hunting. Applied for four more jobs, 3 of which I would really like to try out. One is for a travel agency...which would be funny since a high school honor student probably knows a heap more abut geography than I do. Anyone know of an easy way to learn that stuff?
I also made H my special mexican dip and put meat in it even though it is usually a vegetarian dip. He crunched happily on it for a good long while. I made it the tasty way, with chipotles and mild jalapenos and tons of scallions. Mmmm...

shakeshookshock whom I hadn't seen in far too long. We talked about film and writing and mexican dip; yet for some reason I completely neglected to tell him about the part I'm writing for him in my script. He also brought me a fresh copy of Final Draft6 that I seem to be having better luck with. I am still having some kind of issue with saving, but I'm going to see about figuring it out on my own.
EDIT: I have at long last figured out the difference between "save" and "save as" as it pertains to this program. Woo Hoo!
Later, we got together with N and K. We were going to see a movie but our lateness combined with my intense dislike of crowds caused us to hang out at my place instead. This is after picking up an excellent meal at Panera Bread. I got a chicken ceasar salad with tomatoes and some cinnamon bagels with hazelnut cream cheese. That will cure any food related boredom I may suffer from later in the week.
So I'm off for a bit of sleep, then plan to really tear into this screenplay. Is it still called a screenplay if its for a short film? I dont' know...but it sounds less pretentious to me to call it a script. Ah yes I'm 'working on my script'. That's the ticket.
I also need to figure out why I am cursed at making Amish freindship bread. I got sent a starter in the mail which did not survive in my care. Then I tried to make my own starter which turned into an enormous ziplock of goo in just a few hours and eventually ripped open a ziplock bag even though it was not completely sealed. Perhaps I am destined only to make cakes and muffins, and never work with any actual yeast...
