Jeopardy!
In case you dont' know, i consider myself something of a trivia maven. Not the greatest trivia mind ever, but pretty good. As such, i like to watch Jeopardy as it reminds to to access random facts from my brain everyday.
Lately, there's this Ken guy on who is just amazing and has broken tons of records for winning so much. As of yesterday he's won 19 days in a row, and won over $600,000. It's been crazy cool to watch.
Now here's the funny part.
uterdic and I are watching and yelling out answers, and doing pretty good if I do say so. Then they ask a question about Bob Seger. My dad met him in a bar once, so I knew he was a local guy or at least was for a time. The answer was something about where he hung out in a town where there was a universtiy.
I look at Ryan and shrug.
Ryan shrugs back.
We both look at Alex, anticipating the question that we could not possibly be expected to know:
"What is Ann Arbor".
D'oh!

Re: "plate of shrimp" time
I'm glad to find out Ken was nice, and bummed to hear that Alex is more showbizz than genial intellectual.
I used to date a guy who ended up doing that Millionaire show when they had couples week (with his next girlfriend mind you). He won $32,000.
Bastard!
Re: "plate of shrimp" time
and I now have both I Lost on Jeopardy and Our Love's in Jeopardy stuck in my head. Doh!
